MASTERS
Masters divisions are designed for experienced athletes who still compete at a high level but require a balanced approach in loading due to increased fatigue and recovery demands.
All Masters divisions compete within the Level 4 structure, but use adjusted weights to ensure fair and competitive performance across age groups.
Weight System
Masters weights are based on Level 3 standards, with specific class mapping to maintain logical progression and competitive balance:
Women
MASTERS 50+ (weights: Level 3 U64)
MASTERS 40+ LW U73 (weights: Level 3 U73)
MASTERS 40+ (weights: Level 3 U82)
Men
MASTERS 50+ (weights: Level 3 U80)
MASTERS 40+ LW. (U90) (weights: Level 3 U90)
MASTERS 40+ (weights: Level 3 U105)
Why this system?
This structure ensures:
- Fair competition between athletes of different age groups
- Consistent scaling across all divisions
- Event integrity, where strength, conditioning, and technique remain decisive
- No overlap between classes, maintaining clear competitive hierarchy
Event-specific adjustments
While the system above defines the baseline, minor adjustments may be applied per event to maintain optimal flow and competitiveness (e.g. carry vs static strength events).
(all events and weigths structures are subject to change)
It’s not always about winning.
More often it’s about gaining experience.
