At Strongman Battles, we bring athletes, crew and supporters together through strength sport. Alongside that work, we want to give a voice to a cause that matters deeply to our founder: the protection of animals.
A personal commitment, shared through our work
For Dennis, care for animals has long been part of the story. When he ran NYMA Outdoor Gym, animal protection organizations already had a place on the gym’s website. Strength with Compassion carries that commitment into Strength Events Group and its family of brands.
Our influence brings responsibility
For Dennis, protecting animals is a deeply held conviction. Humans have enormous influence over the lives of other animals and the places they depend on. With that influence comes a responsibility to actively protect them and prevent suffering.
It is difficult to accept how easily animal suffering can become part of everyday life. We want to turn that concern into care: by supporting people who rescue animals, protect their habitats and work for lasting change in how they are treated.
Strength with Compassion gives that belief a place within our businesses. The community we build through sport creates an opportunity to bring attention to these causes and, as the businesses grow, contribute more.

Everyone is welcome
You do not need to share every view of these organizations, follow a particular diet or make a donation to train with us, enter an event or work with us. We welcome different backgrounds and perspectives. Respect for each other comes first.

World Animal Protection
Works to protect wild animals and improve the lives of animals in farming. Its work connects animal welfare with the decisions made by businesses, governments and the public.
A voice for animals
Animal Rights
Works in the Netherlands and Belgium for the fundamental rights of animals. Through investigations and campaigns, it brings animal suffering into public view and calls for change.
Protecting life in our oceans
Sea Shepherd
Works to protect marine wildlife and ocean ecosystems. Its campaigns include investigating and documenting illegal activities at sea.
Better lives for farmed animals
Wakker Dier
Campaigns for a life worth living for animals in farming. It advocates fewer farmed animals and better welfare, working towards an end to intensive livestock farming.
An international movement for change
Close all Slaughterhouses
The movement behind stopabattoirs.org calls for an end to animal farming, fishing and slaughter. Its name expresses that long-term ambition. We include it here because preventing animal suffering matters to us, and because that ambition deserves context beyond a logo.
Practical help, close to home
Stichting DierenLot
Supports local and regional animal rescue organizations in the Netherlands, including shelters and animal ambulance services. It provides funding and practical resources to help companion animals, stray animals and wildlife in need.

What our support means today
Today, we support these causes by giving them visibility across our websites and helping people discover their work. Our ambition is to add regular monthly donations when business revenue allows. That is a future intention, not an active monthly donation programme.
By joining our activities, you help build the community and businesses that make this platform possible. Your booking or membership is not automatically a donation, and we are not currently claiming that a fixed amount or percentage goes to these causes.
