These terms apply to participation in events organised by Strength Events Group under the Strongman Battles name, including Natural events and other events to which these terms are expressly made applicable.
Withdrawal and moving your entry
- Regular Strongman Battles: if you withdraw, you may move your registration once to the next regular Strongman Battles edition. You must request this at least four weeks before the original event date. This option may be used only once.
- Natural and other events: registrations cannot be moved to a future event. This includes Western Europe’s Strongest 2027. The one-time option for regular Strongman Battles does not apply.
- Withdrawal by the participant: entry fees are non-refundable, subject to mandatory statutory rights. Cancellation by the organiser is covered separately below.

A. Definitions
- Event: the event for which the participant registers and to which these terms apply.
- Participant: the natural person who registers for the event in the manner permitted by the organiser.
- Agreement: the agreement for the participant’s participation in the event.
- Organiser: Strength Events Group.
B. Participation, withdrawal and cancellation
- Participation requires a complete and truthful registration, payment of the entry fee and acceptance of the participation-at-own-risk and liability declaration.
- Participation is personal to the registered participant.
- The minimum age is 16 years, or the participant must turn 16 during the calendar year of the event. A participant who is under 16 when registering must obtain permission from a parent or guardian. Any additional event-specific eligibility requirements must also be met.
- Participant withdrawal: entry purchases are final and entry fees are non-refundable, subject to mandatory statutory rights. For regular Strongman Battles only, a participant may request a one-time move of their registration to the next regular Strongman Battles edition. The request must reach the organiser at least four weeks before the original event date. After that deadline, or after this option has already been used, a new registration is required. This option does not apply to Natural events or other events, including Western Europe’s Strongest 2027. Requests and questions can be sent through our contact page.
- Cancellation by the organiser: the organiser may cancel the event in exceptional circumstances. If the organiser cancels the event, the participant is entitled to a full refund within eight weeks after the scheduled event date. This is distinct from withdrawal by a participant.
- Participants must follow instructions from event staff and crew at all times. In the event of repeated or serious misconduct, the organiser may terminate participation without refund of the entry fee.
- Participants may not undertake commercial activities on behalf of the organiser without the organiser’s express permission.
C. Liability and preparation
- Participation is at the participant’s own risk. To the extent permitted by law, the organiser is not liable for damage suffered as a result of participation, or for loss, theft or damage to property.
- If the organiser is nevertheless liable, compensation is limited to the amount paid by the organiser’s insurer for the relevant damage, to the extent such a limitation is legally permitted. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
- The participant must be adequately insured against the risk of damage that the participant or surviving relatives may suffer due to death, injury or illness caused by participation.
- The participant acknowledges that participation requires good physical and mental health and sufficient preparation through training and otherwise. Relevant medical circumstances must be reported to the organiser.
- To the extent permitted by law, the participant indemnifies the organiser against damage suffered by third parties due to an act or omission attributable to the participant in connection with the event. The participant must have adequate liability insurance for that risk.

D. Portrait rights
Subject to applicable law, the participant grants the organiser permission to publish photographs, images and other footage taken during or around the event in which the participant is visible. Contact the organiser with questions or objections about the use of your image.
E. Visual material
Subject to applicable law and third-party rights, the organiser reserves the right to publish visual material made by a participant during the event in any medium without stating the owner or source.
F. Personal data
- The organiser records the personal data supplied by the participant. Subject to applicable data-protection law, these data may be provided to third parties for the purpose of providing information to the participant. The participant may object, free of charge, in writing or by email to the distribution of information or personal data; the organiser will then stop the distribution concerned where required by law. The participant’s name and event results may be published on the internet and in other media. These terms do not replace any separate consent required by law.
- The participant is responsible for the accuracy of the personal data supplied during registration.
